By Air

By Rail
There are several trains that pass through Nellore railway station and it is one of the busiest railway stations in Andhra Pradesh. Of course once you reach Nellore railway station, then you might have to hail an auto or a taxi cab or even a local bus service in order to reach the temple.
By Road
Reaching Nellore by road is the most easy and least expensive method. There are so many people who simple drive down during weekends to Nellore and since the highway (NH5) has been upgraded, driving down has become once again fun here.

The main shrine consists of Lord Ganesha whereas there are also the shrines of the Navagrahas, Lord Shiva, Lord Muruga and also Goddess Parvathi.

The temple is very famous for all its poojas, especially the MahaGanapathipooja. The temple management here is very famous because of its VigneshGurukulum. It is one of the several free services offered by the temple management, where lot of school children come here to learn about various things from scriptures to everyday school lessons.
Weather and Time to Visit
The weather and time to visit Nellore would be ideally between the months of November and February. The timings of the temple are between 9am to 11am in the mornings and 5pm to 8pm in the evenings during weekdays. Whereas during weekends, owing to crowds the temple doors are open between 8am and 8pm. This is one temple you shouldn’t miss out on, when you come to Andhra and Nellore in particular.
