Haryana Bhuteshwar Temple
The temple lies on famous Jind-Gohana Street. The temple resembles the golden temple of Amritsar. The temple has many idols of Hindu Gods. Moreover, there is also a sacred Sarovar or tank which known as pond of queen. According to folklore, the king of state Jind constructed this pond so that his various queens could bath here. Apart from that there is also an important underground tunnel which leads to main pond. During the festival of Mahashivratri, devotees or visitors from all over the country gather here to have Darshan and blessings of Lord Shiva, the creator and destroyer of entire universe. The sacred worship place is greatly decorated as well as illuminated with lights and flowers.
History
However, there is no proper evidence regarding the construction of this sacred temple yet it is said that it was established by King of state Jind. There is also a sacred pond which was also constructed by king. The purpose for constructing the pond was that the queen could bath in it. Moreover, according to the management of the temple there is also a tunnel under the water that leads to main pond. At the premises various idols of Hindu goddess and Gods has been installed. It is said that devotees can be granted their wishes by lord Shiva during the festival of Mahashivratri.

By Road
Indira Gandhi international airport is the nearest airport to district Jind, only 120 km distance from town. Hence, form the airport area visitors or pilgrims can easily hire cars or taxis. However, there are HSRTC and private owned buses run that also take visitors or pilgrims to and from district Jind.
By Rail
Jind city railway station is the nearest railhead that connects the town to Patiala, Delhi, Chandigarh and some other major cities of Haryana as well as other states. Hence, from the nearest railway station visitors or pilgrims can hire taxis, cabs and buses to reach at Bhuteshwar temple.
By Air
Indira Gandhi international airport is closest airdrome to reach at the temple.
Weather and Time to Visit
The climate of district Jind is like all other parts of Haryana state. It means during winters temperature dropping down to 4 degree Celsius while in summer’s temperature rises to 44 degree Celsius. Hence, the best time to visit at Bhuteshwar temple is from November to March. However, followers of lord Shiva can also visit during the festival of Mahashivratri.
