There are various Balaji temples in India and Balaji temple at Hardoi district is among one of them. The sacred temple resembles the original Balaji temple of Mehadipur. The sacred temple is not only famous for its religious significances but also for its mystical or supernatural powers. The sacred Balaji temple at Hardoi district was constructed by the followers of Lord Balaji. According to a local legend, the idol in the temple was a self originated idol. The temple has been designed according to original Balaji temple. The temple is divided into three sections such as Grabha graham, middle area and center hall. Inside the centre hall, an idol of lord Balaji is installed. The major attraction of the temple is its black colored idol of lord Balaji which is believed to be Swayambhoo or self originated. The temple is basically famous for treating people with unnatural or supernatural diseases such as demon possession.
Weather and time to visit
Hardoi city becomes hot and humid during summer and temperature rises to 45 degree Celsius while in winter it becomes cold and temperature may drop down to 5 degree Celsius. Monsoon normally starts in the month of July. So, the best time to get there is from the month of March to October.
